Save Our Benefits
Protect benefits. Improve care.
A practical effort, built on clear information and your choices.
Save Our Benefits is a community effort led by Dr. Ed Weir through 24Help. It began with Social Security and has grown to include the service and healthcare concerns raised by the community.
Our four goals
- Protect Social Security. Prevent benefit cuts and work toward lasting funding for earned benefits.
- Make service work. Improve Social Security customer service so people can reach help and get clear answers.
- Protect Medicaid. Work to reverse Medicaid cuts and protect access to coverage and care.
- Medicare for All. Make Medicare for All our goal, starting by lowering Medicare eligibility to age 60.
Medicare for All. Start with Medicare at 60.
Medicare for All is our healthcare goal. Lowering Medicare eligibility to age 60 is the first step we are advocating. We will compare proposals using original sources, acknowledge tradeoffs, and distinguish our campaign goals from current law.
Keep it manageable
Start with a source, private feedback, or a small task. There is no donation request, paid campaign staff, or ongoing volunteer commitment. Joining is not a petition signature or endorsement of a particular bill.
What this effort can do
Explain proposals, organize practical outreach, and report participation honestly. We cannot promise a legislative result, act for a public agency, or resolve an individual benefits case. Reports stay private unless you separately choose sharing and they are reviewed.
