Save Our Benefits
Private by default.
A practical effort, built on clear information and your choices.
Who operates this effort
Save Our Benefits is a 24Help initiative led by Dr. Ed Weir and operated by MyGovExpert LLC. Privacy contact: ed@24help.org. Mailing address: 1887 Whitney Mesa Dr 1951, Henderson, NV 89014, United States.
What we collect
We store what you submit, the permissions you choose, confirmation status, the campaign topics you choose, and your voluntarily selected state or jurisdiction. Topic choices are private preferences, not inferred health information or endorsements of a policy. Feedback and activity reports can be anonymous. Do not include Social Security numbers, benefit records, medical details, or another person's private information.
Your choices stay separate
Confirming a report or volunteer email does not subscribe you. Newsletter updates, feedback follow-up, volunteer contact, website sharing, and broadcast reuse are separate choices. Public sharing always requires review. We do not sell your information, run advertising pixels, or combine this campaign's records with benefits accounts or other mailing lists.
Where information goes
Campaign records are encrypted on a separate service on our existing Amazon Web Services server in the western United States. Brevo processes the recipient address and message for requested confirmation and preferences emails. The existing 24Help dashboard sign-in protects owner access. Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect public forms from abuse. These providers may process service information under their own terms.
How long we keep it
Unconfirmed contacts without another active purpose expire after 30 days. Private feedback and unused volunteer offers expire after 90 days; unpublished reports and contact requests after 180 days. Delivery records expire after 30 days. Active subscriptions and approved public excerpts remain until withdrawn or no longer needed. Detailed consent and administrative history are kept for up to two years. Minimal suppression evidence remains to prevent unintended contact.
Weekly aggregate scorecards
Simple activity counts can be recorded automatically after email confirmation and routine activity checks. Unusual reports are held out until Dr. Ed reviews them. These checks use the reported counts, dates and a private email-linked identifier; they do not verify attendance or a person’s identity. Dr. Ed must approve the weekly snapshot before anonymous aggregate totals are published. Optional notes and sharing permissions remain private and separate. Withdrawing a report removes unapproved use and private text; previously published anonymous totals remain as a historical record.
Encrypted fingerprints used to prevent duplicate counting are kept for no more than 180 days. Public scorecards contain totals, not participant emails, private stories or individual activity histories.
Your private milestones
When you confirm a report from Your Next Step, we save a compact private record of the action type, selected goal, confirmation time, and video identifier when applicable. It stays with your contact until you withdraw that report or delete your contact, so a break does not reset your progress. Original report details follow the retention limits above. A private email link is required to view progress; we do not put an activity history in browser storage. Viewer ideas need no email, stay private for owner review, and expire after 90 days.
Celebration preferences
A small setting stored in this browser remembers whether you want brief thank-you animations. It stores no email address or activity history. System reduced-motion preferences are respected, and there is no sound.
Your controls
Keep your private receipt to remove a submission or sharing permission. A private email preferences link lets you change your topics and jurisdiction, unsubscribe, or delete your contact and associated submission text. Existing Social Security subscriptions are not automatically expanded to other topics. These controls remain available when ordinary intake is paused. Removing website permission also stops future broadcast reuse; it cannot recall a broadcast already made. For a missing receipt, accessibility difficulty, or another privacy request, use our contact form or email Dr. Ed.
Backups and service records
Encrypted campaign backups are stored in our private Google Drive backup folder for up to 14 days. The encryption keys are kept separately, outside Drive. Removals and suppressions are replayed before a restored copy can serve visitors. A backup may still contain older encrypted information until it expires. Limited abuse checks help protect the service; form contents, email addresses, and private tokens are not written to application access logs.
